Description
KONI cellular polyurethane bump rubber is specially designed to protect the suspension from bottoming. Like a progressive spring, the bump rubber resistance increases the more it is compressed. This not only provides safe and controlled bottoming of the suspension, but also prevents internal damage within the shock from metal to metal contact.
Modifying Bump Rubbers
The tapered end of the bump rubber helps to provide its progressive nature. If it is necessary to increase shock travel, trim the non-tapered end of the bump rubber.
